Shock Trauma Employee Used as Human Shield in Gang War

When my mother and I drive through the Baltimore City, at some point she asks me if I've locked the car door.  It's not better or worse than any big city, but sometimes the movement of the masses, especially in the dark, make you feel uneasy.

Normally, I get a little annoyed with her, but with every "ism," there's a germ of truth.

Brandon Finney was just an innocent bystander, caught between two gang factions as he waited for a bus at Saratoga and Paca Streets. Before it gang incident unraveled, Brandon was dead, after he was used as a human shield by Christopher Camphor, reported a member of the Bloods.

Rival Black Gorilla gang members Sam Rogers and Antwon Morton are behind bars, charged with a double murder (Finney and Camphor).

The victims were taken to Shock Trauma; ironically --or tragically depending upon how you look at it -- that's where Brandon Finney worked. He was trying to make a better life for his family.

And he was saving up for a car so he wouldn't have to wait at bus stops.

I pray for his family.
